Daytime Running Light Position Lamp were not originally an essential element of headlights, but are recently legally required in several countries to prevent bad weather accidents during the day. It depends on the type of car, but it usually turns on forcibly when you start it, or automatically turns on when you release the parking brake or leave the gear selector in the D range. The original purpose was to make it possible to identify the vehicle from a distance even during the day, but in recent years, most of them have a greater aesthetic purpose to point to the appearance of the vehicle by adopting LED light sources.
