What is the Halogen Bulb?

A halogen lamp is an incandescent lamp in which a tungsten filament is sealed into a compact transparent envelope filled with an inert gas and a small amount of halogen such as iodine or bromine.
The halogen cycle increases the lifetime of the bulb and prevents its darkening by redeposting tungsten from the inside of the bulb back onto the filament.
The halogen lamp can operate its filament at a higher temperature than a standard gas filled lamp of similar power without loss of operating life.
This gives it a higher efficacy (10-30 lm/W). It also gives light of a higher color temperature compared to a non-halogen incandescent lamp.
Alternatively, it may be designed to have perhaps twice the life with the same or slightly higher efficacy. Because of their smaller size, halogen lamps can advantageously be used with optical systems that are more efficient.

What is the HID Lamp?

A high-intensity discharge (HID) lamp is a type of electrical lamp which produces light by means of an electric arc between tungsten electrodes housed inside a translucent or transparent fused quartz or fused alumina arc tube.

This tube is filled with both gas and metal salts. The gas facilitates the arc’s initial strike. Once the arc is started, it heats and evaporates the metal salts forming a plasma, which greatly increases the intensity of light produced by the arc reduces its power consumption, High-intensity discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp

What is the LED Lamp?

LEDs are based on semiconductor technology. The light is emitted directly out of the semiconductor substrate when a forward voltage is applied.
To achieve the targeted light patterns with LED applications in headlamps, two conventional opportunities are available that are already implemented in filament and also in gas discharge lamps.
Either the light of the LED is redirected through a reflector in order to achieve the light pattern on the road. Or, alternatively compact systems can be applied that project the light in the street using a lens. Due to their small sizes, LEDs offer the opportunity to combine both light systems for the first time.

Laser Head Lamp?

Laser Headlight can produce the compact headlamp since it is possible of designing a smaller reflector than the existing one. Speaking of lase transmission process, when collecting lights from diverse laser diodes and pass them through phosphor conversion plate, blue light transforms into the white one with homogeneous distribution. This transformed light shows the 600m of visibility which is far superior to the existing LED beam.
